Returned
I'll be posting my photos from Israel here in a little bit. To sum, the trip was both awesome and enlightening. After all too brief stop-through in New York, where I was laid up with the Israeli plague, I'm now back in San Francisco, where it's been nothing but never-ending drizzle. Maybe I'm too affected by the weather. A case of SAD. Maybe I'm just feeling run-down. Maybe I should chalk it up to post-travel malaise. I'm never happier than when I'm on the road so the return is always bound to be a letdown in some ways. Or...maybe I should be a gypsy. Or maybe I should look at San Francisco as one extended journey.
Maybe it's time for a change of perspective. Maybe I'm ready. But right now, sorry, this is what I got -- a bunch of maybes. And maybe a stay tuned for more. And maybe a shalom. Definitely a shalom.
